2018 - Rules for Riders

RUSA Rules

RUSA Reflectivity Guidelines

First, you must be a current RUSA member to ride a permanent.  Join or renew HERE.

Second, register for permanents here.  You will be directed to a Google form and provide rider, route, and ride date/time information.  I will verify RUSA membership and then email a waiver, which you will print, sign, scan, and return via email (or snail mail, if you prefer).  After I receive the completed waiver I will email a permanent ride card, and then you are on your way!

At least two weeks notice of intent to ride is best, anything shorter than that and there's no guarantee you will get to ride.

Receipts for open controls must be date- and time-stamped, and they must be legible.  First time riders send original ride documents (ride card and receipts) via snail mail, repeat riders can email scanned copies.

Although I have posted RideWithGPS links for each permanent, FOLLOW CUES AS THEY APPEAR ON THE CUESHEET.  Sometimes RideWithGPS will try to put you somewhere you don't want to go.  Keep this in mind if you use GPS navigation.

PLEASE forward any questions, concerns, or updates (you had to take an alternate route, for example) so that I can keep the routes as current and safe as possible.  I ride them all as much as I can, but I don't get to ride them nearly as often as I like.

EMAIL for more info.
